Return and Refund Policy

At DressJet.com, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to provide a simple, transparent, and fair exchange and refund experience for our customers.

Please read this policy carefully before placing a return or exchange request.

1. RETURN POLICY

1.1 Return Timeframe

Returns are accepted within 7 days from the date of delivery for products that are eligible for return under this policy.

However, certain product categories are strictly non-returnable, as explained below.

1.2 Return Shipping Fee

For products that are eligible for return:

  • A ₹150 return shipping fee will be deducted per returned item from the final Store Credit amount.

  • The deduction applies per item, not per order.

For example:

  • 1 item returned → ₹150 deduction

  • 2 items returned → ₹300 deduction

  • 3 items returned → ₹450 deduction

The remaining eligible amount after the applicable shipping deduction will be issued as Store Credit, which can be used toward a future purchase on DressJet.com.

Example

If a customer returns 3 eligible products worth ₹10,000 in total:

Total eligible amount: ₹10,000
Return shipping deduction: ₹150 × 3 = ₹450
Final Store Credit: ₹9,550

2. SHOES – NO RETURN OR REFUND

All shoe purchases from DressJet.com are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

Shoes are eligible for SIZE EXCHANGE ONLY.

Customers cannot request:

  • Cash refund

  • Bank refund

  • Refund to the original payment method

  • Store Credit in place of a return

  • Return due to change of mind

  • Return due to color preference

  • Return due to any reason other than an eligible size exchange

2.1 Size Exchange for Shoes

A customer may request a size exchange subject to product and size availability.

The shoe must:

  • Be completely unused and unworn.

  • Be in its original condition.

  • Have the original tags attached, where applicable.

  • Be returned in the original shoe box and packaging.

  • Include all original accessories, if applicable.

  • Pass our quality inspection.

2.2 First Size Exchange

The first size exchange is free of exchange shipping charges.

The customer will only be eligible for one free size exchange per purchased item.

2.3 Second or Subsequent Size Exchange

If the customer requests another size exchange after the first exchange has already been completed:

  • The second and any subsequent size exchange will be subject to applicable shipping charges.

  • The customer must pay the applicable shipping cost before the exchange is processed.

  • Shipping charges may vary depending on the customer's location and courier charges.

Shoes cannot be returned for a refund or Store Credit after the exchange.

3. JACKETS – NO RETURN OR REFUND

All jacket purchases from DressJet.com are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

Jackets are eligible for SIZE EXCHANGE ONLY.

Customers cannot request:

  • Cash refund

  • Bank refund

  • Refund to the original payment method

  • Store Credit in place of a return

  • Return due to change of mind

  • Return due to color preference

  • Return for any reason other than an eligible size exchange

3.1 Size Exchange for Jackets

A customer may request a size exchange subject to product and size availability.

The jacket must:

  • Be completely unused and unworn.

  • Be in its original condition.

  • Have all original tags attached.

  • Be returned with the original packaging where applicable.

  • Pass our quality inspection.

3.2 First Size Exchange

The first size exchange is free of exchange shipping charges.

The customer is eligible for one free size exchange per purchased jacket.

3.3 Second or Subsequent Size Exchange

If the customer requests another size exchange after the first exchange has already been completed:

  • The second and any subsequent size exchange will be subject to applicable shipping charges.

  • The customer must pay the applicable shipping cost before the exchange is processed.

  • Shipping charges may vary depending on the customer's location and courier charges.

Jackets cannot be returned for a refund or Store Credit after the exchange.

4. OTHER PRODUCT RETURNS

Products other than shoes and jackets may be eligible for return within 7 days from delivery, provided they meet all return conditions.

For eligible returns:

  • The product must be unused and unworn.

  • The product must be in its original condition.

  • Original tags and packaging must be intact.

  • The product must pass our quality inspection.

  • A ₹150 return shipping fee will be deducted per returned item.

  • The remaining eligible amount will be issued as Store Credit.

5. STORE CREDIT REFUND POLICY

For products that are eligible for return, approved refunds will be issued only as Store Credit.

We do not provide cash refunds, bank transfers, or refunds to the original payment method for standard returns.

Store Credit Calculation

Eligible Product Amount − ₹150 × Number of Returned Items = Final Store Credit

Example

If a customer returns 2 eligible products worth ₹5,000:

Product value: ₹5,000
Return shipping: ₹150 × 2 = ₹300
Final Store Credit: ₹4,700

The ₹4,700 will be credited to the customer's Store Credit balance and can be used toward a future purchase on DressJet.com.

6. STORE CREDIT USAGE

  • Store Credit can be used for future purchases on DressJet.com.

  • Store Credit cannot be converted into cash.

  • Store Credit cannot be transferred to a bank account.

  • Store Credit cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Store Credit cannot be transferred to another customer unless specifically approved by DressJet.com.

  • If the new order value exceeds the available Store Credit, the customer can pay the remaining balance using the available payment methods.

  • Store Credit is subject to applicable terms and conditions.

7. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If you receive a product that is:

  • Defective,

  • Damaged during transit,

  • Incorrect,

  • Or materially different from the product ordered,

please contact us as soon as possible with clear photographs/videos of the product and packaging.

After verification and approval:

  • DressJet.com will provide an appropriate resolution.

  • The ₹150 per-item return shipping deduction will not apply if the issue is confirmed to be due to a verified manufacturing defect, transit damage, incorrect product, or an error attributable to DressJet.com.

Shoes and Jackets

For shoes and jackets, even though they are non-returnable, verified issues such as:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Wrong size sent

  • Wrong product sent

  • Confirmed transit damage

may be eligible for a replacement or appropriate resolution after inspection.

A normal return or refund is not available for shoes or jackets.

8. EXCHANGE POLICY

8.1 Size Exchange Only for Shoes and Jackets

For shoes and jackets, exchanges are strictly limited to size exchange.

Shoes

Jackets

No Return + No Refund + Size Exchange Only

The first size exchange is free of exchange shipping charges.

Any second or subsequent size exchange will require the customer to pay the applicable shipping charges.

9. EXCHANGE CONDITIONS

To qualify for a size exchange:

  • The product must be unused.

  • The product must be unworn.

  • The product must be in original condition.

  • Original tags must be attached.

  • Original packaging must be intact.

  • The product must pass our quality inspection.

  • The requested size must be available.

An exchange may be rejected if the product shows signs of:

  • Wear

  • Washing

  • Alteration

  • Stains

  • Damage

  • Odor

  • Missing tags

  • Missing original packaging

10. ONE-TIME FREE SIZE EXCHANGE

For shoes and jackets:

First Exchange

One size exchange is allowed free of exchange shipping charges.

Second Exchange

If the customer needs another size after receiving the first exchanged product:

Applicable shipping charges will be payable by the customer.

Third or Further Exchange

Any further size exchange will also be subject to:

Applicable shipping charges payable by the customer.

The exchange is subject to product and size availability.

11. RETURN PICKUP

For products that are eligible for return:

  • Return pickup will generally be scheduled within 24–48 hours after the return request is approved.

  • A maximum of three pickup attempts may be made.

  • Pickup availability depends on the customer's location and courier service.

For shoes and jackets, the pickup will be treated as a size-exchange pickup only, not a return.

12. SELF-SHIPPING

If reverse pickup is unavailable in the customer's location, DressJet.com may provide self-shipping instructions.

For eligible standard returns, applicable return shipping charges will still be deducted from the Store Credit amount.

For the first eligible size exchange of shoes or jackets, DressJet.com will provide the applicable exchange shipping instructions.

13. REFUND / STORE CREDIT PROCESSING TIME

For eligible returned products:

  • Return pickup is generally arranged within 24–48 hours after approval.

  • Once the product is received, it will undergo a quality inspection.

  • After the return is approved, Store Credit will generally be processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Customers will be notified once the Store Credit has been issued.

For size exchanges, the replacement product will be dispatched after the returned item passes inspection and the exchange is approved.

Processing times may vary due to courier delays, holidays, product availability, or other circumstances beyond our control.

14. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

The following products are not eligible for return:

  • Shoes – Size exchange only

  • Jackets – Size exchange only

  • Intimate apparel and hygiene-related products.

  • Personal care products where applicable.

  • Customized or personalized products.

  • Clearance products.

  • Products marked as "Final Sale".

  • Products that have been used, washed, altered, damaged, stained, or otherwise fail our return conditions.

Key Rule

Shoes and jackets are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable. They are eligible for size exchange only. The first size exchange is free, while any additional size exchange requires applicable shipping charges.

For other eligible products, approved returns are refunded as Store Credit, with ₹150 deducted per returned item as the return shipping cost.

16. FAIR USAGE POLICY

DressJet.com reserves the right to review return and exchange activity to prevent misuse of the policy.

Where there is excessive, repeated, fraudulent, or abusive use of returns or exchanges, DressJet.com may:

  • Restrict future return requests.

  • Restrict future exchange requests.

  • Require additional verification.

  • Refuse future return or exchange requests where permitted by applicable law.

This policy helps us maintain a fair and sustainable shopping experience for all customers.
